Oooo let's see here - If you want to donate Daughter of White, Eye Examination, Heartbreak Headlines with your deck donation slots this month, I could definitely cap and make those for you! At least, I think all three of those are 'official' PVs? I'm uncertain of the policy for fan made PVs being donated here, I had a whole guidelines post for donating Vocaloid PVs before but it didn't end up on here or quoted anywhere so idek what we're doing about those now @_@

Also oooo those three could be incredible. I've never really known what is/isn't fan-made, I just know which ones look really really good and are fantastic sounding. I'd love to know if the Synchronicity ones are official or not.

Either way, when in doubt it seems to be that if we who know Vocaloids relatively well enough say that it's official, we're good. We've just gotta investigate and figure out if it's fan-made or not. :o Probably have a discussion with Chuu?? Because I know Aletha is :? about Vocaloids.

Also I'd say we push a Vocaloid PV guideline being added to the FAQ or Deck Donation post or something. That would be really good to have.

I think the easiest way to figure out what counts as official and what doesn't count as official would be to view the original uploading of the song on NND and if the PV you wish to donate is in the same video as the song, then that's official. So, for an example, Shidu's Kagerou Days PV would count as official since it's the one Jin uploaded with the song, whereas Wannyanpu's PV would be considered fan made (unforutnately).

I... actually.. typed up a huge post for guidelines when donating Vocaloid PVs, and went into several paragraphs for it, and sent it to Aletha a long time ago but nothing ever became of it so I kind of. gave up on the idea. But maybe if you speak with her and Chuu about it, they'll reconsider the idea and hopefully we will get some guidelines for donating Vocaloid PVs here. I always thought they would be good to have around.

This makes sense! And is helpful to know. I'll be of no help though because I know pretty much nothing about NND aside from the fact that it has videos. I rely on Wikis and other people.

And I will definitely nudge Aletha and nudge Chuu a whole bunch about that. :o You should nudge them too. Pincer-attack, nudging from two sides!!

Hmmm, I know a way that might be of help to you! Maybe, if you search for the songs you're curious about on the Vocaloid wikia, that could be of help in a way.

For example, I went with Eye Examination and was directed to this page. The "Niconico Broadcast" link is always the original uploading of the song, so if you go to the pages of songs you're interested in on the wikia and check to see if the PV is featured on the NND broadcast link or not you'll be able to tell official from unofficial. \o/
